Dear Families of Creekside Elementary,

My name is Dr. Jaime Zepeda and I am the Principal of Creekside Elementary. I am grateful for the opportunity to get to know your family in the new school year. It is my sincere pleasure to work with our dedicated staff and community at Creekside Elementary.

My vision for Creekside Elementary is to provide students with the best educational experience that will inspire students to become lifelong learners. My goal is to provide a nurturing environment that meets the individual needs of each student academically, socially, and emotionally. Having a strong connection between home and school is so important to your children’s education.

Hello Creekside Elementary Community!

My name is Ashunda Williams-Hunter, and I am thrilled to join this vibrant team as your new Assistant Principal! I grew up in Southern California and hold a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona and a master’s degree from Concordia University in Irvine. I’ve been an educator since 2008, teaching first, third, and fifth grades, as well as serving as an itinerant science teacher. Since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of working with Moreno Valley Unified School District as an Assistant Administrator of Instructional Improvement and Academic Coaching (AAIIAC) and an Assisstant Principal. 

I am passionate about fostering a positive school culture, engaging with families, and supporting our students to reach their fullest potential. I am excited to collaborate with you all to make this a fantastic year!

¡Hola, comunidad de la Escuela Primaria Creekside!

Me llamo Ashunda Williams-Hunter y estoy encantada de unirme a este dinámico equipo como su nueva subdirectora. Crecí en el sur de California y tengo una licenciatura de Cal Poly Pomona y una maestría de la Universidad Concordia en Irvine. He sido educadora desde 2008, enseñando primero, tercero y quinto grado, además de ser profesora itinerante de ciencias. Desde 2021, he tenido el privilegio de trabajar con el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Moreno Valley como Administradora Adjunta de Mejora Instruccional y Orientación Académica (AAIIAC) y como subdirectora.

Me apasiona fomentar una cultura escolar positiva, conectar con las familias y apoyar a nuestros estudiantes para que alcancen su máximo potencial. ¡Estoy emocionada de colaborar con todos ustedes para que este sea un año fantástico!
